As a proud member of the rainbow family, I know how much representation, community and understanding matter. Some of us are able to shout our sexuality from the rooftops, and for others, there is a need for a more subtle approach. These deconstructed flags were designed with the whole spectrum of gender and sexuality in mind. Each painting is flaked with gold, so that we recognise how valuable we are to society. We are the cherry on top. So find your flag; pansexual, asexual, transgender, non-binary, genderfluid, bisexual, polysexual, genderqueer and lesbian and BE PROUD.
Purple / lavender represents androgynes and androgyny. Also represents the “queer” in genderqueer.
White represents agender identity, congruent with the gender neutral white on the transgender pride flag.
Green stands for those whose identities are defined outside of and without reference to the binary. Also the inverse of lavender.
